This is a 2 hour introductory course into supporting children with SLCN with transition to secondary school. It will cover:

• Overview of Speech, Language and Communication at age 11.
• Effects of SLCN on life chances
• Typical SLCN at age 11
• Coping with change
• Activities for supporting transition
• Communication passports
