Information for Professionals

We offer flexible settings packages covering assessments, therapy and staff training — or we can put together a bespoke programme tailored to your children's needs.

As a not for profit speech and language therapy practice our service is open to everyone. Parents can refer their own children or professionals can refer with parents consent. Our waiting times are usually under 4 weeks for initial assessment. Our private client service is paid for but our Lighthouse Scheme subsidises private therapy and parents can opt to pay as little as 10% of our standard charges.

If you have a number of families who would benefit from speech and language therapy we also offer packages for settings. This enables you to buy a block of our time either as a one off or a regular session and you can choose how you would like to use the time. This could be to do assessments to enable you to access other support, regular therapy for children waiting for NHS services or training for your staff. We are able to offer 1-1 or small group sessions and we can come in to set things up and train your staff to take the interventions over. We also offer formal training through ELKLAN.

We are always open to putting bespoke packages for settings together and tailoring it to your children and their needs.

Seaside SaLT provides specialist training for schools and nurseries to help staff support children with speech, language and communication differences. Our sessions build confidence in recognising early signs of difficulty and using practical strategies that help children communicate and thrive.
