As Speech and Language Therapists, we use our clinical expertise to assess, support and, where appropriate to diagnose specific speech and language conditions. However, not all children require a formal diagnosis. Many simply benefit from targeted support in the specific areas they find challenging, helping them build skills, confidence and independence.
This depends on your child’s individual needs. Some children need short-term support, while others benefit from longer-term input. Typically, regular direct sessions are usually organised in blocks of 6. We will always discuss this openly with you.
This is very common — and absolutely fine. We are experienced in building rapport and adapting sessions to suit each child’s personality and interests.
Sessions are usually booked weekly or fortnightly, often on the same day and time for consistency. We agree this together based on needs of your child.
We understand that children get poorly or plans change. We simply ask for as much notice as possible. Full details are provided in our terms and conditions before booking.
With your consent, we can liaise with your child’s setting to ensure strategies are consistent across environments.
Research shows that speech and language therapy is most effective when accessed at the right time. Early, targeted support can prevent difficulties from becoming more entrenched and can positively impact learning, confidence and friendships.
We understand this concern. That’s why we offer our flexible payment initiative, allowing families to choose the level of financial contribution that works for them.
You’re not. Parents know their children best. If something doesn’t feel quite right, it’s worth asking the question.
